EA announced yesterday that the fourth and final DLC, Rogue One: Scarif, will release on December 6th, the games one year anniversary. The DLC is inspired by the new film Rouge One : A Star Wars Story, in theaters December 16th.
The DLC will consist of four new maps, one of which being a whole new planet called Scarif which you can catch a glimpse of in the Rogue One trailer. The DLC will also offer two new playable characters : Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic, along with a new multi-stage game mode consisting of both space and ground combat.
Also releasing on December 6th, for free, is the Star Wars™ Battlefront™ Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission for PlayStation VR. This mission will give you complete control of your very own X-Wing( A dream of mine since I was 10 years old).
If you’re getting excited about the new content and haven’t gotten a crack at what they’ve released so far, all maps and modes from Outer Rim, Bespin, or Death Star are free from now until Sunday November 20th, as well as quadruple score all weekend long.
