About a year ago we reported that Slender: The Arrival would be making its way to Wii U. Developer Blue Isle Studios had remained quiet until a recent press release that announced the game would finally arrive on the eShop on October 22nd, a week before Halloween.
Slender: The Arrival is a first-person survival-horror title with different exploration-based objectives in each level. The game will make use of the Wii remote as its main controller which will be used to operate the protagonist’s flashlight.
The game releases on the same day as the digital launch of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. Slender games were at the peak of its popularity a few years back, but with the release of Koei Tecmo’s much-awaited horror title, The Arrival may suffer from a loss of potential sales.
