Original Xenoblade Chronicles Releases on European Wii U eShop

Copies of Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii can be found on Amazon.com at prices updwards of $70. When it first released in North America on April 6th, 2012, the game saw limited quantity releases exclusively through Gamestop. The game is now considered a hidden game and is rarely ever found on store shelves.

Nintendo saw an opportunity to make Xenoblade Chronicles easily accessible to players on their New 3DS XL, making it the first ever exclusive title for the system. Now it seems Wii U owners will be able to get a piece of the Xenoblade action because Xenoblade Chronicles has been ported over to the European Wii U Virtual Console. The game is currently available for download. Players who pick it up at the price of €19.99 / £17.99 will receive a discount of €10 / £9 for the digital copy  of Xenoblade Chronicles X when it launches this December.

Nintendo has not yet announced whether Xenoblade Chronicles will release on the North American Wii U eShop, but it seems likely.
